Swarna Masuri Rice also known as sona masuri is a type of Indian white rice, mostly grown. It is a medium-grain, and aromatic rice that is lightweight and low in starch. It is easily digestible and good for weight loss. Swarna Masuri Rice has a glycemic index with a low glycemic index that is known to lower blood glucose levels and is good for diabetics. Sona Masoori is very much low on starch and is easier to cook.
